2011 December 24, Christmas Scout Parade
On the 24th of December, scout groups of the CSAI and their marching bands, friendly scout associations, local schools and clubs line-up to a great parade to celebrate the beginning of christmas and draw the attention of many thousands of visitors to Nazareth. They are welcomed by the Bishops of the Latin and Melkite Churches, by the mayor and by the representatives of the Muslims of Nazareth and the President of the Catholic Scout Association in Israel. Together the scouts and all the Visitors (Jews, Muslims, Druzes, Catholics and Protestants) enjoy a wonderful and peaceful afternoon. -

2011 December, Light of Peace
Every year before Christmas scouts from all over the Middle East, Europe and Northern America spread the “Light of Peace”. The light reminds us about the announcement of peace on the fields of Bethlehem more than 2000 years ago. The scouts use the light to remember their relatives, friends, neighbours, parishes, communities and nations to engage in activities for peace. 2011 July 27 – August 722nd World Scout Jamboree
Where: Rinkaby Fields, Kristianstad, Theme: Simply Scouting, Who for: 30,000+, 14-18 years old, Host: Svenska Scoutradet (The Swedish Guide and Scout Council) / WOSM: The 22nd WSJ in Sweden will encourage meetings between those from different cultures, religions, countries and contingents. Participants will get to know those who live outside of their own local community and find that strangers can become friends. Meetings will take place everywhere, from module activities to subcamp life, from small camp fires to huge arena events. All aspects of the camp will encourage meetings: the schedule, the programme and even the site design! [read more] -

Who: Rovers and Leaders (17 – 30 years old), What: joint initiative of the ICCS and the Community of TaizĂ© – The Scout Week in Taize has been designed to help young scout leaders to view their daily life in the light of the Gospel: praying together three times a day, reflecting on the wellsprings of the faith, exploring the Promise, the Law, and the Principles of Scouting. Common activities like hikes, games and singing are also part of the programme as-well-as learning to know the diverse traditions of the other Scouts. [read more] -

2010 November 27 25 years Nazareth Scout Center
On the 27th of November we celebrated the re-opening of the NSC. It was build 25 years before with the help of our friends. They were also present for the party! We are very proud that our bishops, representatives of Israeli Minestries and the city of Nazareth, so many scouts from different associations, nations and religions, so many presidents from befriended organisations and clubs and our neighbours joined the re-opening! Thank you for being with us.
